About the Journal

Jurnal Santiaji Pendidikan (JSP) with registration number ISSN 2087-9016 and e-ISSN 2685-4694 is a journal that contains publications in the form of research results and literature review in the field of education. JSP was published in January 2011 by the Teaching and Education Faculty of Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar. JSP is published twice a year in March and September.

FOCUS & SCOPE

The focus and scope of Jurnal Santiaji Pendidikan is focused on general education research/review both in topics covered as well as disciplinary perspective:

  1. Teaching and learning materials at all education levels.
  2. Research and Development paradigm/R&D in education.
  3. Curriculum of Education at all education levels.
  4. Quasi-experiment, Class Action Research (CAR), and Lesson Study in teaching and learning.
  5. Other Qualitative Research of Education.
  6. Learning Evaluation/Assessment
  7. Teacher Professional Issues/Trends in Education.
  8. Environmental education

PUBLICATION ETHICS

The publication ethics is a statement of the code of ethics for all parties involved in the Jurnal Santiaji Pendidikan (JSP) publication process, namely managers, editors, partners, and authors/writers. The legal basis for this publication code of ethics statement is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, which essentially upholds three ethical values ​​in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, namely being free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, namely granting authorship rights to those entitled to be authors/writers; and (iii) Honesty, namely free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Editors' Responsibilities:

  1. Meeting the needs of readers and authors/writers,
  2. Seek to improve the quality of publications in a sustainable manner,
  3. Implementing a process to guarantee the quality of published papers,
  4. Prioritize freedom of opinion objectively,
  5. Maintaining the integrity of the author's academic track record,
  6. Delivering corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary,
  7. Responsible for the style and format of the written work, while the contents and all statements in the written work are the responsibility of the author/author,
  8. Actively solicit the opinions of authors, readers, partners, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of publications,
  9. Encouraging an assessment of the journal if there are findings,
  10. Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethical Clearance form that has been approved by the Ethics Clearance Commission,
  11. Support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics,
  12. Assess the effect of publication policies on the attitudes of authors/writers and partners and improve them to increase responsibility and reduce mistakes,
  13. Have an open mind to new opinions or other people's views that may conflict with personal opinions,
  14. Not defending one's own opinion, the author, or a third party which may result in an objective decision,
  15. Encouraging authors/writers, so that they can make improvements to their written works so that they are worthy of publication.

Reviewers' Partners Responsibility:

  1. Obtain assignments from the editor to review written works and submit the results of the review to the editor, as material for determining the feasibility of a written work for publication.
  2. Reviewers may not conduct a review of written works that involve themselves, either directly or indirectly
  3. Maintain the privacy of the author by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input, and recommendations
  4. Encouraging authors/writers to make improvements to written works
  5. Reviewing the written work that has been corrected according to predetermined standards.
  6. Papers are reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (data collection methods, author legality, conclusions, etc)

Authors Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that those included in the list of authors/writers meet the criteria as authors/writers.
  2. Responsible collectively for the work and the contents of the article including methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
  3. State the origin of resources (including funding) directly or indirectly.
  4. Explain the limitations of the research
  5. Respond to comments made by reviewers’ partners in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Inform the editor if he will withdraw his written work.
  7. Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication is original, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.

COPYRIGHT NOTICE

Authors who publish with Jurnal Santiaji Pendidikan (JSP) agree to the following terms:

  1. For all articles published in the Jurnal Santiaji Pendidikan (JSP), copyright is retained by the authors. Authors give permission to the publisher to announce the work with conditions. When the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to the automatic transfer of non-exclusive publishing rights to the publisher.
  2. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
